“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”

Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson
This book has redeemed my love for Sci-fi. Brandon Sanderson uses his words to paint once again an amazing world like our own but completely different to allow me to escape too. The characters are fully flushed without making me wonder what happened here and why didn’t he go deeper there. This is the fourth book that I have read by this author and by far my favorite (the first 3 being the Mistborn trilogy)
The story is about two kingdoms on the brink of war. Hallandren and Idris one a new world with living gods and one old who worship the god Austere which is more of a spiritual god. There are multiple characters in the story and the point of view switches between them but its done so smoothly that its hardly noticeable. The two main characters are sisters Siri and Vivenna they close but so different in the way they present themselves its interesting to see the way they evolve through the worlds they travel. I know that this is not a whole lot to go off on but I don’t want to delve too far into the story line and give things away, but if you are fan of Sci-fi/fantasy, where gods roam among the normal people, where your breath can bring inanimate objects to life, and where two sisters fight the odds to help there kingdom then this book is for you.
I give this book a 4/5 the start is slow but the end is well worth it!
